Found in the Chinese Himalayas, eastern Himalayas, Vietnam, Myanamar and Thailand in leaf litter on forest floor at elevations of 600 to 900 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with a prostrate, moniliform, pale green pseudobulb carrying 2 to 5, ovate to shortly acuminate, 5 veined, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the spring on an erect, terete, puberulous, [9.7 to 13.2 cm] long, 2 to 4 flowered inflorescencewith 2 to 3, subtubular, acuminate, puberulous bracts and has ovate,-lanceoalte, acuminate, puberulous floral bracts.
