Found in Thailand at elevations around 300 meters as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte with radiating, thinner than others in the genus, roots giving rise to no leaves but blooms on an erect then arching, 4 to 4.8" [10 to 12 cm] long, pubescent, , few flowered inflorescence carrying creamy white flowers with faint red spots towards the base of the segments.

Distinguished immediately by the winged lip which is distinct for the genus and the almost lacking spur.
