Found in Parana state of Brazil as a medium to large sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with an erect, very leafy stem carrying erect patent to erect, elliptic, acuminate to apiculate, amplexicaul below into the base leaves that blooms in the fall on axillary, 1 to occasionally 2 flowered inflorescence carrying large flowers.
