Found in Colombia and Ecuador at elevations of 30 to 1300 meters as a medium sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with no pseudobulbs that has a fan of lanceolate, conduplicate below, acute leaves that blooms in the spring on an axillary, pendant, 2" [5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with a single, tubular below the middle bract.
