Found in Argentina, the Falkland Islands and Southern Chile at elevations around 20 to 1900 meters as a small to just medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with 3 to 4 leaves that blooms in the early summer on an erect, terminal, slender, single flowered flowered inflorescence
