Common Name The Mt. Kinabalu Coelogyne [A Mountain in Sabah, Borneo]
Flower Size 3" [7.5 cm]
Found in Borneo on Mt Kinabalu, Sabah in lower montane oak laurel forests at elevations of 900 to 1800 meters as a warm growing epiphyte with very nearly cylindric, and stem-like pseudobulbs enveloped basally by large sheaths and carrying 2 apical, narrowly elliptic, sharply acuminate, coriaceous, plicate, 5 to 9 nerved, narrows below into the indistinct petiolate base leaf thta blooms in the fall on a hysteranthous, rigid, erect, 10" [25 cm] long, fractiflex, successsively to 36 flowered inflorescence with deciduous floral bracts.
I have my doubts as to this ID, more study is needed. I have left it because the photos are different than the rest of the Coelogyne that I have
