Common Name The Salmon Colored Coelogyne

Found in Sumatra at elevations of 950 to 1500 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphtye with close set, obliquely ovoid, slightly flattened, faintly quadrangular pseudobulbs carrying a single apical, erect, elliptic, plicate, acute, gradually narrowing below into the channeled petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a synanthous, slender at the base, thickening towards the apex, erect then pendulous, zig-zag, to 3.2" [8 cm] long, 2 to 4 flowered inflorescence with ovate-oblong, acuminate, persistent floral bracts.
