Found on Mindanao within the Philippines at elevations around 700 meters as a medium sized, warm growing epiphyte with ovoid to fusiform, 3 to 4 angled, ascending, wrinkled, green pseudobulbs carrying 2, lanceolate to broadly lanceoalte, 3 prominently veined, suberect to arching leaves that blooms in the late spring and early summer on a terminal, suberect, arising with the new growths, to 8.2" [20.5 cm] long,green to 8 flowered inflorescence with deciduous, elliptic-lanceoalte, brown, slightly concave floral bracts.
