Common Name The Large Spurred Comparettia

Flower Size 2" [4 cm]

A small sized, pendant, cool growing epiphytic species from Boyaca, Meta, Cundinamarca and possibly Casanares Colombia on bushes along watercourses, or fruit trees at elevations of 1200 to 2000 meters with very short pseudobulbs carrying 2 to 3 , oblong or oblong-ligulate, obtuse leaves that blooms in the mid-winter on a delicate basal, arching, 14" [35 cm] long, sometimes irregularly branched inflorescence carrying 4 to 8, medium sized flowers.
