Common Name or Meaning Bentley's Corallorhiza [American Collector of the type current]

Flower Size .15 to .2" [3 to 4 mm]

Found in West Virginia and Virginia as a miniature to small sized, cold growing, mycotrophic terrestrial that blooms in the summer on erect, 6 to 8" [15 to 20 cm] long, thicker than others in the genus, rich chestnut to mahogany in color, several flowered inflorescence carrying cleistogamus flowers.
