Common Name The Painted Corybas

Flower Size 3/4" [2 cm]

Found in Malaysia, Java, Sumatra and Borneo at elevations of 700 to 2000 meters in disturbed areas in foothills and lower montane forests on mossy rocks, mossy ground and mossy tree fern boles in deep shade as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with a cordate, sharp pointed, silver, white to pink veined, acuminate, apiculate, basally clasping leaf with the edges crisped that blooms in the summer in situ on a very short, erect, single flowered inflorescence.

The second photo shows the leaf coloration change when a plant is found on ultramafic substrates. The first photo shows the more normal leaf coloration.
