Common Name The Ceara' Cyclopogon [A State of northeastern Brazil]

Found in Ceara state of Brazil as a medium sized, warm growing terrestrial with tuberous roots giving rise to lanceolate, acuminate, abruptly narrowing below into the thin, elongate, pseudo-petiolate base leaves that blooms on a terminal, erect, 16 to 20" [40 to 50 cm] long, qpuberulous, thin, provided with acuminate, amplexicaul, glabrous, sheathing bracts, several flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acute bracts and longer than the ovary floral bracts.
