Common Name or Meaning The Redish Cynorkis
Flower Size .6" [1.5 cm]
Found in central and southeastern Madagascar on humid rocks at elevations of 1000 to 2000 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool growing lithophyte with 2 oblong tubers giving rise to an erect stem carrying 3 to 5, radical, flat, linear to lanceolate-linear, glabrous, acute leaves that blooms in the summer and fall on a terminal, erect, glandular, short, densely many flowered inflorescence.
Very similar to C lindleyana but differs in the lip.
