Common Name The Large Bulbed Cyrtopodium

Flower Size

Found in Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama at elevations of sea level to 400 meters as a large sized, hot growing terrestrial that blooms in the spring.

Found in Mexico and according to Weyman Bussey has to be different than C punctatum because of the protuberances around the lip margin.

Most authorities place this taxon as C punctatum.
