Found in Myanmar, Malaysia, Java, the Moluccas, Sulawesi and New Guinea as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with fleshy, overlapping, slightly curved leaves that blooms on short, single flowered inflorescence carrying thick, fleshy, dark claret to maroon, short-lived flowers
