Common Name The Dark Red Dendrobium

Flower Size 3/8 to 1/2" [1 to 1.2 cm]

Found in Borneo and Malaysia in riverine and montane forests at elevations of [sea-level to 600 in Borneo] 900 to 1500 meters as a small to just large sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with an erect stem enveloped completely by leaf bearing sheaths and carrying many lanceolate, acute, imbricate, jointed leaves that blooms on an axillary, near the apex, short, single flowered inflorescence
