Found in Thailand, Malaysia, Borneo, Moluccas and Sumatra in lower montane, moss and laurel/oak forests at elevations of 600 to 1800 meters as a small to medium sized, warm growing epiphyte with pendant, thin basally, thicker and fleshier above, leafy stems carrying numerous, lanceolate, apically bilobed, obtuse leaves that blooms in the late winter through early summer on an axillary, very short, single flowered inflorescence
