Common Name Boos Dendrobium [Philippines Orchid Enthusiast current]

Found in the Philippines among lichens and thin mats of moss in shaded but open localities usually on nthe underside of branches and occasionally on trunks at elevations around 700 meters as a medium to large sized, pendent, warm growing epiphyte with branching, elongate, thin basally becoming thicker on the secondary branching stems, secondary and tertiary branches purple and leafy which are thin textured,, lanceoalte, subsessile leavews that are held at a 90 degree angle to the stem that blooms on a single flowered inflorescence arising from the upper nodes of leafless stems.
