Common Name The Braia Dendrobium

Found in China?, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam at elevations of 800 to 1500 meters as a medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with pseudobulbous, slightly clavate stems carrying variably deciduous leaves that blooms in the winter and spring on a leafless or leafy stem with up to 3, lateal, arching, to 7 flowered inflorescence.

This species is separated from the very similar D capillipes by the persistent leaves at blooming, the longer, arching inflorescence and the several flowers that it carries.
