Common Name or Meaning The Gunung Brichang Mountains Dendrobium [Cameron Highlands of Malaysia]

Found in Malaysia in the Cameron Highlands at elevations of 1500 to 2200 meters as a large sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with stems carrying narrowly linear, basally widest, evenly narrows to apex, acute, basally clasping leaves articulate to the purple flushed leaf sheaths that blooms in the spring, summer and fall from the nodes near the apex of the cane with very short, 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence.

CAUTION Now said by Kew to be a white flowered synonym of D hasseltii but I have left them separate pending more research.
