Found in Java, Lesser Sunda Islands and the Moluccas near sealevel as a small to medium sized, hot growing epiphyte with short, slightly dilated below, tapering above, many noded canes carrying, thick, dark green, ovate-elliptic to oblong, obtuse leaves that blooms on 1 to several, terminal to lateral, rachis 2 to 8" [5 to 20 cm] long, few [to 7] flowered inflorescence
