Common Name The Camaridium-Like Dendrobium

Found in New Caledonia in rain forests, strand forests and on rocks in shade at elevations of 50 to 900 meters as a small to medium sized, hot to warm growing, grass-like epiphyte or lithophyte with numerous rooting branches carrying 6 to 8 per branch, grass-like, unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the winter, spring and summer on a very short, 2 flowered inflorescence that arise from the nodes between the leaves along the cane of a new mature growth and carrying fragile flowers that last but a day.
