Found in the Solomon Islands in lowland and rain forests in at elevations around 50 meters as a giant sized, hot growing epiphyte with pendent, elongate, leafy stems carrying many, distichous, elliptic, narrowing below into the clasping bsae leaves that blooms on lateral, arising from bilaterally compressed protuberances, 2 flowered inflorescence carrying yellow green flowers with a white mentum.
