Found in Papua and New Guinea in cloud forests at elevations of 1000 to 1300 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with suberect to ascending, 5 angled, cylindrical pseudobulbs carying a single, apical, erect to suberect, ligulate to oblong-ligulate, obtuse leaf that blooms in the spring and fall on a successive single flowered inflorescence.
