Common Name The Closed Dendrobium

Found in New Guinea on trees in montane forests at elevations around 1200 meters as a small to medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with slightly flattened, erect to spreading pseudobulbs carrying many spreading, elliptic leaves that blooms in the fall on a very short, 2 flowered inflorescence carrying short lived flowers.
Rogier Van Vugt puts this one within either D clausum or D obliquum and Schlechter also says they are difficult to separate, so use with caution
