Found in Irian Jaya [western New Guinea] at elevations around 800 to 1000 meters as a large sized, warm growing epiphtye with closeset, elongate, flexuous, many noded stem carrying ovate-lanceolate to ovate-oblong, acute, mucronate, minutely serrate margined leaves that blooms in the summer on a subcongested, verrucose, .4" [1 cm] long, few [3 to 8] flowered inflorescence
