Common Name The Flattened Column Dendrobium
Flower Size .2" [5 cm]
Found in Sumatra at elevations around 100 meters as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte with close set, simple stems enveloped completely by imbricate leaf bearing sheaths and carrying obliquely oblong-triangular, acute, laterally flattened, fleshy leaves that blooms in the winter on many, from the leaf axils, very short, successively single flowered inflorescence.
The 2nd and third photo are a similar species, but to date I do not know which one. Notice the fimbiate lip apex.
Synonyms Aporum compressistylum (J.J.Sm.) Rauschert 1983
