Common Name or Meaning The Elegant Dendrobium

Flower Size .25" [.6 cm]

Found in Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, Sumatra, Java, Borneo, Indonesia, Vietnam and Cambodia in lowland, hill and lower montane forests at elevations of sea-level to 1200 meters as a small sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte needing shade and high humidity and moisture from spring through autumn with clustered stems carrying 10 to 14 closely spaced, overlapping, fleshy, alternating leaves and blooms in the fall on a 1" long inflorescence arising mostly apically from a leafy or leafless stem with 1 to 2 fleshy flowers.
