Common Name Cowen's Dendrobium [Original Collector of Species current]
Flower Size 1.28 to 1.4" [3.2 to 3.5 cm]
Found in Thailand with an erect to spreading, slightly compressed, soon sulcate stem enveloped by gray sheaths that persist for 2 years or so and carrying thin, papery, elliptic, keeled beneath, acute, unequally bilobed leaves that blooms at most any time of the year on a lateral, pendulous, .48 to .84" [1.2 to 2.1 cm] long, covered by 3 small, cylindrical basal bracts, [4.1 cm] long overall, simultaneously 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence carrying outward facing flowers
