Common Name The Cowl-Carrying Dendrobium
Flower Size 1.1" [2.9 cm] long
Found in New Guinea in montane forests on trees at elevations of 1400 to 1800 meters as a large sized, cool growing epiphyte with branching, flexuous near the apex stems carrying leancolate, acuminate, minutely toothed marginally, violet tinged leaves that blooms in the fasll on a short, 3 to 10 flowered inflorescnece.
