Found in New Guinea at elevations around 1100 to 1200 meters as a medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with a short rhizome giving rise to simple to occasionally branching, flexuous, thin, terete stems carrying many, erect-patent, glabrous, linear, acute, leaves that blooms in the spring and summer on lateral, short, 2 flowered inflorescence.
Schlechter states that the flowers are pale yellow, the lip is whitish with a dark red margin
