Common Name The Spider Dendrochilum [refers to the flowers shape]

Flower Size 1 3/4" [2 cm]

Found only on Mindanao in the Philippines at elevations of 660 to 2300 meters often in bright light as a small sized, warm to cold growing epiphyte with 2" [5 cm] between each, rambling, ovoid pseudobulbs carrying a lanceolate, distinctly 3 veined leaf that blooms in the fall and winter as a new growth arises with an arching, several to many [20 to 30] flowered inflorescence carrying cinnamon scented flowers.
