Common Name The Linear-Shaped Leaf Dendrochilum

Flower Size 1/4" [.6 cm]

Found in Malaysia and Sumatra in ridge top upper montane forests at elevations around 1500 to 1600 meters as a small sized, cool growing lithophyte and occasional epiphyte with clear green turning brown with age, globose pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, linear, obtuse, gradually narrowing below in to the elongate petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a terminal, erect then arching, 6.4" [16 cm] long, several [8 to 12] flowered inflorescence arising with a newly forming pseudobulb growth.
