Found in the Philippines at elevations over 1000 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with oval pseudobulbs enveloped basally by sheaths and carrying a single, apical, linear leaf that blooms in the spring on an arching, 4" [10 cm] long, to 25 flowered inflorescence arising with a new growth and carrying sweetly fragrant flowers
