Found on Luzon and Mindoro within the Philippines at elevations around 1800 to 2000 meters as a small sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with close set, thin, fusiform pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, linear-oblong,obtuse to subacute, apiculate, narrowly petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a terminal, peduncle thin, rachis to 2" [5 cm] long, 6 to 8" [15 to 20 cm] long, overall loosely to 30 flowered inflorescence.
