Found in the Philippines in the mountains of Nueva Vizcaya on Luzon on trees and shrubs at elevations around 1200 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool growing epiphyte with tapered, green pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, narrowly oblanceolate, acute, prominent mid vein leaf that blooms on a glabrous, 2" [5 cm] long, pendent, alternating flowers, rachis twisted so as to produce a cylindrical, simultaneously to 50 flowered inflorescence.
