Common Name Large-leafed Dendrochilum

Flower Size 1/2" [1.25 cm]

Found only in the Philippines at elevations above 1200 meters as a medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with narrowly conical, approximate, smooth, pale green pseudobulbs carryiong a single, apical, narrowly elliptic-lanceolate, acuminate leaf with a petiole blooming in the spring on a graceful arching, 6" to 8" [15 to 20 cm] long, densly many flowered inflorescence with fragrant flowers arranged in two ranks.

Common Name The Large Flowered Dendrochilum

Flower Size 1/2" [1.25 cm]

This medium sized orchid is endemic to the Philippines at elevations above 1200 meters as a hot to cool growing epiphyte with ovoid pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, plicate leaf that blooms on a terminal, erect then arching, 2' [60 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence occuring in the spring and summer.
