Found in the Philippines at elevations up to 900 meters as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with pendulous, flexible stems enveloped completely by imbricate, leaf sheaths carrying, two ranked, flattened, fleshy, leathery, dark green, linear-lanceolate, acute, that blooms in the winter and spring on lateral, from the bracts near the apex of the stem, single flowered inflorescence
