Common Name Escritor's Dendrobium [Philippine collector of type 1900's]

Found in Luzon the Philippines at elevations of 30 to 150 meters as a medium sized, hot growing epiphyte with erect to semi-pendulous, flattened, non-branching stems carrying 2 ranked, fleshy, laterally flattened, lanceolate leaves that blooms in the spring on a 1 to rarely 2 flowered inflorescence arising on the upper leafless part of the stem.
