Common Name The Fringed Lip Dendrobium
Flower Size 1.36" [3.4 cm] long
Found in northern Sumatra at low elevations as a small to medium sized, hot growing epiphyte with pendent, terete, basally narrowed, violet reddish brown with age stems carrying many, dark green, deciduous, ovate-oblong, narrowing towards the apex, unequally bidentate apically leaves that blooms in the summer on thin, .52 to .75" [1.3 to 1.75 cm] long, 3 flowered inflorescence arising from the nodes of leafless stems.
