Common Name Fuerstenburg's Dendrobium [German Count and Orchid Enthusiast late 1800's]

Found in Thailand at elevations of 1300 to 1400 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool growing epiphyte with a hairy stem carrying 4 to 7 leaves that blooms in the later summer and fall on very short, single flowered inflorescence arising on both leafless and leaf-bearing stems and carrying a very large flower for the size of the plant.
