Common Name or Meaning The Habbema Dendrobium [A Lake In New Guinea
Flower Size 1 to 1.6" [2.5 to 4 cm]
Found in New Guinea in montane forests on trees or in alpine shrubs and grasslands at elevations of 2100 to 3500 meters as a small to medium sized, cold growing epiphyte with slender, pendulous, noded stems with new ones arising from near the apex of the older and carrying 5 to 8, linear, light yellowish green leaves that blooms in the winter on a .4 to 1.2" [1 to 3 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence
