Found in Borneo at elevations near sea level as a small to medium sized, hot growing epiphyte with rigid, flexuous, fractiflex, sulcate, erect stems carrying 4 to 9, oblong-elliptic, oblong-ovate, or oblong, shortly contracted and sulcate basally, obliquely semi-obtuse apically, brown hirsute above and below leaves that blooms in the winter and summer on an erect, abbreviated, .25 to 1.1" [.8 to 2.6 cm] long, 2 to 7 flowered inflorescence
