Common Name The Horse-Shoe Bearing Dendrobium

Found in New Guinea on moss covered trees in mistforests at elevations around 2500 meters as a cold growing epiphyte with nearly erect, densely leafy stems carrying many erect, lanceolate leaves that blooms in the spring on a short, single flowered inflorescence carrying non-resupinate flowers.
