Found in Kerala India at elevations of 100 to 600 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, hot to warm growing lithophyte on wet rocks with swollen, ovoid, compressed, brown pseudobulbs carrying 2 to 3, deciduous, linear, acute, membraneous, leafless when blooming on an erect, terminal, 1.6 to 2" [4 to 5 cm] long, slender, successively single, to 3 flowered inflorescence.
