Flower Size .4" [1 cm] wide

Found in Borneo in peat swamp forests at elevations near sea level to 100 meters as a small to large sized, hot growing epiphyte with quadrangular, densely leafy stems carrying many, oval, rigid, unequally obtusely bilobed, darker above leaves that blooms in the spring on a short, single flowered inflorescence with an ovate, tubular, acute floral bract.

Differs from D connanthum by the broader leaves, the larger flowers with broader sepals and petals. Also closely related to D hepaticum and D ellipsophyllum but differeing in the smoother lip bearing a solitary subapical keel.
