Common Name The Khassia Dendrobium [refers to its origin Thge Khassia hills of India]

Found in the Khasia hills of northeastern India as a medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with slender, zigzag towards the apex stem enveloped by striped sheaths and carrying deciduous, narrowly lanceolate, acute, unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the later spring on a short, from the upper nodes of the stem, 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence and carrying fragrant flowers.
