Found in Sulawesi as a large sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with olive green, rigid, pendulous, very flattened stems carrying many linear-lanceolate, somewhat sickle shped, laterally flattened leaves that blooms on short single flowered inflorescence that arise in the upper portion of the stem carrying a large flower for the section.
