Flower Size .8 to 1.2" [2 to 3cm]
Found in the Moluccas on banks or sandstone rocks at elevations of 100 to 400 meters as a large sized, hot growing terrestro-lithophyte with an erect, woody, shiny, straw-yellow stem carrying many, linear-lanceolate, papery, basally twisted, acute leaves that blooms in the spring and summer on many, short, axillary, single flowered inflorescence carrying short lived, very fragrant flowers
This species has a very Vanda-like look with it's woody stem and strap shaped, linear-lanceolate leaves.
