Found in Sumatra in primary forests at elevations of 850 to 1700 meters as a small to medium sized, warm to cool grow2ing epiphyte with a non-branching, flattened stem carrying densely, spreading, all more or less the same, linear-lanceolate, narrowing towards the apex leaves that blooms in the winter on lateral and apparently terminal, very short, branched, simultaneously up to 5 flowered inflorescence.
